Importers and wholesalers — you hold the stock, we hold the corridor.

A stockholding importer buys differently from a hotel group. You are not specifying to a brand standard; you are buying to a shelf, a catalogue or a customer's brief, and the numbers that decide the order are landed cost per piece, shade consistency across reorders, and whether one container can carry enough lines to be worth clearing.

Adalwin Global supplies stockholding importers and wholesalers with cotton bath, bed and robe programmes in full or mixed containers — 430 – 650 GSM towels, 200 – 400 TC bed linen, 220 – 600 GSM robes — shipped FOB or CIF from India under one Adalwin Commerce LLP counterparty, with custom shades from 500 pieces per shade.

Adalwin Global runs those programmes out of four Indian corridors — terry from Solapur, bed and bath linen from Panipat, table from Karur, knits and spa pile from Erode — consolidated into one shipment and invoiced through a single Adalwin Commerce LLP counterparty. Mixed containers across bath, bed, robes and mats are normal rather than an exception.

Specification usually arrives second-hand: a size list from your customer, a competitor's sample, or a spec sheet in metric that does not match an Indian mill's standard cut. We quote exact where the cut exists and nearest match where it does not, stating the difference rather than quietly substituting.

What this sector actually audits for

  • Shade consistency batch-on-batch across reorders
  • Mixed containers across several product lines
  • Reorder lead time against stock-out risk

Questions procurement asks first

Importers & Wholesalers — sourcing FAQ

Can you ship a mixed container across several product lines?
Yes. Mixed containers across bath towels, bed linen, robes and mats are standard for importer programmes. Each line still carries its own minimum — custom shades from 500 pieces per shade — but those quantities combine into one container and one invoice rather than four separate shipments.
What is the minimum order per line?
Stock white runs to the standard programme minimum. Custom shades start at 500 pieces per shade, custom cuts at 1,000 pieces, custom thread counts at 1,000 pieces, and poly-cotton blends at 2,000 pieces. Sizes within one model count together toward the minimum.
We buy to our customer's spec sheet. Can you match it?
Send the spec sheet. We quote exact where the cut and weight exist in the corridor, and nearest match where they do not, stating what differs — usually a centimetre or two on the cut, or a step on the GSM ladder. Custom cuts are available from 1,000 pieces if an exact match matters more than lead time.
How consistent is colour between reorders?
Buyer-spec colour is locked to Pantone at sample stage and reorders are matched to the master shade card batch-on-batch. That matters more to a stockholder than to a single property, because mixed shades across a stock run read as old stock on the shelf.
